What a fun brand Cricket Wireless is, no secret there. One of the very first clients that I was put on while at Hacker Agency, was this vibrant and fast-moving one. I was the main Art Director for their creative, working alongside a copy-writer and under little supervision from a Creative Director when needed.
We did a lot of very quick quality work for them over the years and thankfully it always went off without a hitch. When they first launched their rewards app, we were obviously there to help them shout from the rooftops all about it. Direct mail, postcards, digital banners, animated ads, emails and offer specific landing pages were just some of the assets I lead the charge on. We even had a hand in redesigning their entire rewards app platform.
We lead campaigns around specific device launch and activations, holiday gift guides, and plenty of offer driven ones as well. We would spend ample time white-boarding the deliverables that made sense and in what order. The entire customer journey was always taken into account. The email that they’d first receive for a promo, and how that email would be versioned differently for a customer, prospect, winback candidate etc. And then how they may be get a retargeted ad, a postcard that they’d receive, no details were spared. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of both strategy and creative here. Typically leading concept/brainstorm sessions, and nurturing the campaigns through client presentation and handoff.
